The Trojans competed at the Byron Center Bulldog Games Invite and came away with a third-place finish. Sturgis scored 87 points and finished with several Top 3 placements. Eleena Kelley was second overall in the discus at 121 feet, 4 inches. This distance makes her the first Trojan early qualifier, guaranteeing her a spot at the state finals
