By Breeana Greenberg| picketfencemedia.com@ According to a Construction Alert from OC Public Works, a Capistrano County Beach Shoreline Project that began on March 11 is expected to continue into May. A portion of the Capistrano Beach parking lot will be closed to the public as OC Parks and OC Public Works remove sandbags and construct a riprap revetment to slow down coastal erosion threatening the beach, walkway and parking lot. Work crews are working to remove all 240 feet of sandbags and replace them with rock.
