The musical “Fun Home” opened April 19, 2015 at Circle in the Square Theatre in Manhattan. Based on the graphic memoir of the same name by Bolton resident Alison Bechdel, the fact-based musical about Bechdel’s late father’s closeted gay life and her own sexual awakening as a lesbian included in its cast 11-year-old Oscar Williams of Charlotte, who portrayed Alison’s younger brother, Christian.
