The return for the Mariners in the deal has not been reported. Pomeranz hasn’t pitched in MLB since 2021 with the San Diego Padres, but he has been effective in relief for the Rainiers. Though the veteran southpaw has a 4.66 ERA, he has not allowed an earned run in seven of his nine appearances in 2025.

It’s a little surprising which Mariners hitter took the honors, though. Utility man Dylan Moore is the AL Player of the Week after going 10 for 26 (.385) with three home runs, a double, six runs, five RBIs and a 1.177 OPS in six games played since last Monday.
