Reid is sponsoring a law making its way to the Evanston City Council that would forbid landlords from denying housing to renters just because they have any dog including a pit bull.

Cox| Chicago Tribune Verified Glenview police are continuing to investigate a crash in which a bicyclist died Wednesday after being struck by a vehicle in the north suburb last week, authorities said. Shortly before 9 p.m. on Aug. 15, Glenview police responded to the 800 block of Milwaukee Avenue for a traffic crash involving a vehicle and a bicycle, police said in a release Thursday.
