We hadn't cracked the 70° mark since April 2nd's 81° high that preceded the severe storms that night. The preliminary high temperature of 74° Monday is the normal high for May 17th and 10° above normal. But April being April, a sharp change is coming. A couple of cold fronts will be passing, the first this evening.
