Emergency services responded to reports of a house on fire on Cadbury Road at around 8:40pm, arriving to find the fire had fully engulfed the house. A fire scene examination has been undertaken, with the fire believed to have been deliberately lit.

Police and Emergency Services were called to the scene at around 2:45pm, following reports that a rider had lost control. The 74 year-old Ulverstone man received serious injuries, and was flown to the Royal Hobart Hospital.
