Assistant director Matt Fouts took over as director for his father beginning Monday. Jim Fouts and his family began backyard tours of their wildlife in 2000, and years later it became Tanganyika. "I have been surrounded by animals my entire life, but I never dreamed I would be a zoo director," Matt Fouts said.
