If we take a look at the popular narratives thus far, they’ve predominantly been AI and memecoins. DeFi, which dominated the last cycle, has been majorly underperforming this cycle. The only DeFi stuff doing well at the moment is staking and restaking-related products. But why? What’s happened? DeFi as a concept has always been great; there’s no denying that.
