By Bruce Haines| The Journal Gazette Verified When Wally Fosnight moved to Fort Wayne from Pittsburgh in 1970, he soon realized that his young daughter’s beloved programs, “Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood” and “Sesame Street,” were unavailable in our area. This prompted Mr. Fosnight and a dedicated group of volunteers to launch PBS Fort Wayne in 1975, becoming the last locally owned and operated TV station in northeast Indiana.

The distribution of SSH variance across frequencies and wavenumbers is estimated by comparing an empirical model spectrum to two sets of observations. First, submesoscale SSH variance is constrained using a pair of GPS buoys spaced at about 10 km.
