Biography
I graduated from Central College in Pella, Iowa with a BA in English and history with a minor in reading. I taught English, history and journalism for 11 years. I also taught at the University of Iowa and Iowa State University summer high school journalism workshops. For 27 years, I was a regional director for the Iowa State Education Association. My job was to bargain and represent public education employees.
I am open to most topics but concentrate on public education and politics the most.
