Biography

I am a forensic scientist. I specialize in crime scene reconstruction, gunshot residue and digital imagining. My clients are defense attorneys - I am an expert witness in these fields. I have testified in criminal court numerous times. I publish in forensic journals and from that standpoint I consider myself as a forensic journalist, My CV: www.meixatech.com/cv.pdf. I offer my services as a certified crime scene reconstruction expert to other journalists and can help in understanding discovery in homicide cases. My training as a scientist was at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography (1970-1980) followed by many years in pathology by the documentation of toxic minerals and metals in pneumoconiosis cases. My work was instrumental in awards to pneumoconiosis victims amounting to many millions. In the late 1990s, I was a senior associate with an independent crime lab in Cardiff, California.
