Biography
I am an old fucking writer who's been knocking out content for a couple of online sites for a long time. I recently decided I'd rather publish and write for myself. I started All American Whiskey with a good friend and that's pretty much where I am now. I do everything creative (hence my title) from writing to Pinterest racks. Beginning in 2022, I'll be traveling to whiskey producing states to find their overlooked distilleries, craft workers, glass makers, coopers, and farmers to tell their stories.

This happened recently to Soif, a tiny upscale joint in the basement under Testaccio. Their menu was Bordainian. Their wine and port pairings were a thing of sheer beauty. But their bartenders, well now, the bartenders were the absolute tits. Eddie and Kenny built a solid wall of whiskey, punctuated by highly literate cocktails infused with some kind of joyously nerdish ex-pat wonder.
