The new zone is in the lake near the Carl Rogers Bridge on Clarks Bridge Road, near Lake Lanier Olympic Park. Signage has been installed in the area by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. "The changes to the old zone are to improve safety for boaters and shoreline visitors," a release from the DNR said. Boaters are asked to stay alert and follow posted signage.
