Mauk was named as the new head coach at Principia High in Town and Country, Missouri, near St. Louis, marking the first head-coaching job for the former Tiger. The former quarterback coached as an assistant at Glendale High in Springfield, where his father, Mike Mauk, was the head coach until 2023 and his brother, Ben Mauk, was on staff.
