(WAFF) - It took three hours, seven minutes for the Huntsville Havoc to come away with the first win of the SPHL President’s Cup Playoffs. The Havoc defeated the Evansville Thunderbolts 2-1 on Overtime to take a 1-0 lead in the best of three series. Huntsville scored their first goal in the Second Period by Craig McCabe to take a 1-0 lead. Evansville would respond with a goal in the Third Period to tie the game at 1 heading into Overtime.
