The Centro de Periodismo Investigativo (CPI) is an independent, non-profit organization based in Puerto Rico, established to enhance access to news and information through investigative journalism. Founded in 2007 or 2008, CPI is the only organization in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean dedicated solely to this field. Its mission is to ensure transparency and accountability in governance by providing oversight of powerful figures and institutions.
