A lot of the solutions were surrounding bulkheads, which are typically wooden barriers that separate any body of water from land. Some ideas were raising bulkheads, adding more bulkheads across Fenwick Island, or adding bulkheads behind piled up stones, called riprap. But the town said this is a long term process and they first need grant money to begin these projects.
