Biography

I'm a journalist passionate about storytelling who generally covers education, race, and gender topics. A fourth-year University of North Florida communication major, I'm minoring in creative writing. Currently, I'm a reporting intern at WJCT 89.9 News and Jacksonville Today, covering news in the city from both the written and audio worlds. Before, I spent nearly three years at Spinnaker, the nationally recognized student-run media outlet at UNF. As editor-in-chief, I built back our coverage post-pandemic and covered issues close to the campus community. On top of my internship, I'm also a freelance reporter for the Jacksonville Business Journal covering stories at the intersection business and education. I've also placed for multiple awards and led Spinnaker as our newsroom was awarded an Online Pacemaker from the Associated Collegiate Press for 2022-2023.
