Food and travel writing has taken me from the backyards of Mayan farmers growing heirloom ingredients to the most opulent hotel suites in Paris. I have produced content—everything from narrative travel features to SEO-driven slideshows—for The New York Times, Travel + Leisure, Sunset, Robb Report, Muse, Departures, San Diego Magazine, Modern Luxury, Afar, Cooking Light, Yahoo, Fodor's, The Points Guy, Virgin Atlantic, A Sunny Space and Bon Appétit. I've also edited Fodor's guide book chapters and Sunset's SoCal Insider Guides. My photography has been published by Modern Luxury, Bon Appétit and Afar. I write frequently about Paris, San Diego, London and New York. Before I began working in travel journalism, I was a broadcast news reporter. I covered politics, crime and economic development in small and midsize markets in Idaho and Oregon.
