Caspar Naber was bitten by the news bug at an early age. As a child he devoured all the newspapers and television news, made his own neighborhood newspaper with news from near and far and always chose foreign news items such as the 'dirty war' in Argentina and the December murders in Suriname for his school papers. After his Law studies, he followed - unsurprisingly - a post-graduate course in Journalism. His desire for the unknown brought him to Brussels in the early nineties, then extremely popular and very exciting as the capital of Europe. After an internship at the political desk of De Standaard newspaper, followed by three months as 'youngest clerk' at the foreign desk, he was offered a job as a crime & legal affairs reporter. His wildly enthusiastic 'yes' was the start of his journalistic career. His articles have been published amongst others in: Algemeen Dagblad/ad.nl, Het Parool, De Volkskrant, NRC Handelsblad, Dagblad van het Noorden, Leeuwarder Courant, Het Laatste Nieuws, De Morgen and Humo
