Cassidy Klein (b. 1997) is a freelance journalist and editorial assistant at U.S. Catholic magazine. She studied journalism and philosophy at PLNU in San Diego. She lives in an intentional community with artists, activists, and Catholic Sisters called The Fireplace in Hyde Park, Chicago. She previously worked as an editorial assistant at Sojourners magazine and has freelanced for local newspapers in San Diego and beyond. She grew up in Denver.

He offers people rides and provides water, food, and money—often appearing out of nowhere. In return for his help, he asks people to visit him at his parish in the Mexican state of Jalisco.
