Catherine Morrison is reporter for the Canadian Press in Ottawa, Ont. Previously, she worked as a reporter with the Ottawa Citizen and, before that, with Brunswick News. She is a 2021 graduate from the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism in New York City, where she focused on health and social justice reporting. In 2020, she graduated from McGill University with a B.A in Gender, Sexuality, Feminism and Social Justice Studies, minoring in Political Science and Communications. During her time in university, she was a contributor and editor for The McGill Tribune, a student newspaper. She also co-founded The Why Intersection, the university’s first online satire magazine.
