Catherine Osborne is an award-winning editor, writer and communications specialist in architecture, urbanism, design and the visual arts. Based in Toronto, she is the former Editor-in-Chief of Azure, one of North America’s leading magazines of contemporary international architecture and design. Catherine played a crucial role in transforming Azure into a multi-platform brand that now includes a global awards program, live talks and events, and robust social channels. Her writing has been published extensively in North America and Europe. She has interviewed and written about some of the most creative minds in the world, including architect David Adjaye, industrial designer Konstantin Grcic and designer Faye Toogood of London. Prior to Azure, she was co-founding Editor of Lola art magazine and an arts and culture writer based in Tokyo, Japan. Catherine is a board member of the DesignTO Festival and MOCA Museum of Contemporary Art in Toronto.
