Originally from Sydney, Nova Scotia, Cathy (Krawchuk) Donaldson earned a B.A. (Sociology/Political Science) from Dalhousie University / University of King’s College and a B.A. in Journalism from King’s before beginning a career as a reporter at the Halifax Herald in 1988. She later worked as a journalist at The Chronicle on Montreal’s West Island before moving to Vernon, B.C. in 1995. While living on the west coast, Cathy added travel writing to her portfolio. For the past 25 years, she has enjoyed exploring the planet and sharing her storytelling skills with readers through traditional and digital media. She is a member of the Travel Media Association of Canada. Publications: The Boston Globe, CBC Radio, The Halifax Herald, The New Brunswick Telegraph-Journal, The Moncton Times and Transcript.
