(WGHP) — Despite pushback from some homeowners living in New Irving Park in Greensboro, the Greensboro City Council passed a rezoning request Tuesday that could bring a new townhome development to their neighborhood. On Tuesday, the Greensboro City Council voted 6-2 to rezone the property from single-family to multifamily to make way for eight townhome units at the request of developer BJ Johnson.
