An international broadcast reporter with more than 15 years of experience in the newsroom and the field for France 24, Sky News Arabia and Radio Monte Carlo Doualiya. I have reported extensively across the Middle East and North Africa, from post-invasion Iraq to the frontlines in Aleppo, Syria. My coverage of the Libyan uprising was nominated for several awards including the Albert Londres award, Bayeux War Correspondents Award and the FIGRA award in 2011. In 2016, I established Sky News Arabia's Paris bureau and reported on Paris and Brussels terror attacks in Europe, as well as on the deadly migrant route from the Middle East and Africa to Europe. Besides regional expertise, my specialisms include counter-terrorism, ISIS and Europe's lurch to the right.
