The event was called “Not Another Boring Art Auction.” Keira's Kougars Care is a new nonprofit dedicated to helping Gulf Coast families impacted by brain cancer. The organization is named for 13-year-old Keira Jordan, who died from a form of brain cancer in 2021.The nonprofit held their art auction on Friday, March 28, at the Alliance for the Arts in Fort Myers. They raised $1,416.
