The Canadian government is poised to drop COVID-19 testing rules for travellers entering the country, according to multiple reports. The government could make the announcement as soon as Thursday, the reports say. It would mean fully vaccinated travellers flying or driving into Canada will longer have to take a COVID-19 test.

Officials started to give out around 1,000 test kits at 7 a.m. but people started lining up just after 3 a.m., in the hopes of getting one. 22 minutes in and the rapid tests are still being handed out at Union station. @MetrolinxSpox helping with distribution. 1000 tests expected to be handed out today – last day tests will be avail at this location.
