My career in journalism officially began in October 2003 when I went to work for my hometown newspaper as its graphic designer. From there, I took on additional responsibilities in advertising, subscriptions, circulation and eventually news writing. In 2016, I was named Editor of The Mountain Advocate Newspaper. In 2018, I was named Digital Editor for Nolan Group Media, overseeing newspaper websites and social media for eight newspapers. In 2019, I was named Publisher of The Mountain Advocate and Vice-President of Web & Design for Nolan Group Media. My heart bleeds democracy, transparency and integrity. Those three things have and will define our nation's future, and I want to be there to tell the story.
