Temperatures will hold in the mid to upper 90s for most inland communities, making it another sweltering day throughout the area. Humidity will increase slightly as dew points climb another few degrees.

Highs in the low 90s for the 4th of July will climb to the mid 90s by Friday afternoon. Humidity will also be on the rise over the weekend, keeping the “feels like” temperature elevated. The area of high pressure that will help keep us dry Thursday and Friday will move deeper into the Atlantic by Saturday, opening the door for scattered sea breeze showers and storms in the afternoon.
