From studying animal management in college to pursuing a degree in Ecology and Wildlife Conservation, Ruairi’s path has always led him back to the untamed beauty of thick jungles and flowing rivers. There has never been any doubt about his career choice and on the 18th of June 2023, he decided to follow this calling by embarking on the adventure of a lifetime.

Ruairi Overy-Hennesy, 22, began a five-week journey volunteering in Manu National Park in Peru in June 2023. In the weeks shortly after his return, he began to experience unusual symptoms, the most alarming was a small hole that opened at the top of his left hand. He sought medical attention in October 2023 and was quickly referred to Poole, Salisbury, and Southampton General Hospital.

This comes after Chancellor Reeves refused to rule out the possibility of an emergency budget. Despite this fall, the consumer price index figure is still above the Bank of England’s 2% Target, meaning a higher cost for borrowers.
