I’m a travel writer, entrepreneur, tea and food judge, lecturer, and former scientist based in London. My interests are in tea, trains, Taiwan, and technology. I like to bring my scientific training and analysis into my work. When not writing, I manage the operations of Marulin, a fine tea and food company that I co-founded based on my family farms in Taiwan. I also train tea sommeliers on Taiwanese tea for the UK Tea Academy and am a judge for the Guild of Fine Foods and the Leafies International Tea Competition.
