Chinyere Elizabeth Okoroafor, is a journalist with The Nation Newspaper in Lagos Nigeria. She is the author of Abiana….Born to die, a short tragicomedy play on Amazon She studied English and Literature at Abia State University, Uturu and freelanced for the defunct Entertainment Express. After university, she worked at Alimosho mail, a community newspaper in Lagos, where she reported on effects of dirty environment, poor healthcare stories and other issues affecting the community. She attended Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Ogba for her Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism. Currently, she freelance at The Nation newspaper, where she writes on educational news and human interest stories. Chinyere is an art of word enthusiast. She believes that the capacity of words to make someone happy or sad impresses her so much. For her, words are like math wherein one has to master and know a workable formula to deliver the right message. She is also obsessed with eating healthy and losing weight. She is a good cook, a good swimmer. She loves taking photos, and writing about any issues that pops up in her head as she continue chronicle this bizarre, beautiful, and often very weird journey she’s on. Her interest areas includes education, human rights and culture. She is single and lives in Lagos, Nigeria
