Chris Hart was born and educated in England, where after a career in industry, he retrained as a psychologist. Initially, he worked with crime victims, people recovering from serious illnesses and adults with learning difficulties, before specialising in relationships and social skills. He is well known as a columnist in the Sunday Nation and the Saturday Standard, and also writes for other publications, for example True Love, Esteem, and Love Matters Africa.
