Maryland State Police said they responded to the scene of the crash in the northbound lanes of the Salisbury Bypass at Snow Hill Rd. around 3 p.m.According to troopers, a Nissan Altima was traveling northbound and drove off the road, hit a metal road sign and then re-entered the northbound lanes.

According to Maryland State Police, troopers responded to the crash scene just before 12:30 a.m. Fri. on Rt. 50 eastbound near Powelville Rd.State police said one person was killed and two other people in the car were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Troopers said the victims' names have not been released as state police work to notify next of kin.
