In a world filled with uncertainty, students persevered through one of the darkest times in human history; COVID-19. Fast forward to today, and the SNHU class of 2024 is gearing up to graduate. As we prepare to walk across the stage adorned in our cap and gowns, these last few weeks stand as a time for reflection.
By Chris Tutt| The Penman Press Verified After 20 years at the helm, SNHU announced that Paul LeBlanc will be stepping down as president effective June 30, 2024. The Board of Trustees unanimously voted for University Provost, Lisa Marsh Ryerson, to take over on July 1, 2024. Since joining SNHU, Ryerson has embraced the community and is excited to continue her work in this new role. “[There is such] joy and excitement to be able to continue to work with a wonderful community to lead and guide our mission,” said Ryerson.
By Chris Tutt| The Penman Press Verified For the first time since the 2014-2015 season, SNHU Men’s Basketball has advanced beyond the regional round and is headed to Evansville, Indiana for a chance at the 2024 Division II Men’s Basketball National Championship trophy. Despite being the #5 seed in the NE10, the Penmen cruised through the NE10 tournament, eventually defeating the #6 seed Southern Connecticut State University, 75-60, on March 9.
