Spruce Creek, Seabreeze and Trinity Christian will host the first round of the regional playoffs as district champions. New Smyrna Beach and Pine Ridge qualified as at-large bids. The FHSAA returned to a best-of-three series format for the regional rounds. Friday didn’t involve much suspense for Spruce Creek, Seabreeze and Trinity Christian.

Atlantic High School won the District 9-1A championship. The streaks now sit at three and 16. For the third straight season, Spruce Creek claimed a district championship, beating DeLand 27-7 in the District 2-4A finals Wednesday. The Hawks have won all 16 of their games. They will enter the Florida High School Athletic Association playoffs as an undefeated automatic qualifier.
