In Aurora, Southern Bank is the only option for many residents. It's been such a valued business here in Aurora...and we all hate to see it go. Lewis Leaming tells me he's lived in Aurora for almost 50 years. For most of his life, he said he's banked with Southern East Bank in Aurora.

For almost a century, Emma Webb Park has been a Kinston staple, but with the park's age starting to show, Kinston's Parks and Recreation department is working on some much needed upgrades. Scott Alston, Parks and Recreation Director, says:It's been a vital part of Kinston Parks and Rec for many years, with the old pool being here, and we're looking to revitalize this park with many new amenities.
