Biography

I'm an Asian American ex-mental health specialist turned entertainment Journalist based just outside of NYC. In my former career, I used to help clients with comorbidity diagnoses, which were often addiction and/or personality disorders, get their lives back on track. Eventually, I left the field to pursue my passions and became a freelance journalist while writing screenplay and comic book scripts on the side. I currently cover article topics about TV, Movies, Comics, and Video Gaming. I am working to self-publish two graphic novels and continue to write spec scripts for my screenwriting career. I have contacts in the Gaming, TV, Comic Book, and entertainment industry and typically am open to respond to both DM and E-mails.

By Christian Angeles Verified| The Beat Verified This is the second part of last week’s post. My journalism story began towards the end of my career in psychology when I was writing for a local town newspaper called New Brunswick Today. I didn’t cover that much during my time there, but I did go out to cover a few events and interviewed some artistic people. The reason I stopped was because I was asked to write about the unveiling of a new town statue of Colonel John Neilson, a local war hero known about in town.
