By Christina Casillas Verified| Los Altos Town Crier Verified The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner’s office identified the pedestrian killed by a vehicle last week as 73-year-old Mountain View resident Yee Leong. Leong was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of El Camino Real and Escuela Avenue the morning of April 9, according to a Mountain View Police Department press release. MVPD responded to reports of a vehicle-pedestrian collision at approximately 5:28 a.m. that day. Arriving officers provided Leong medical treatment, but he died at the scene.
