Christopher Hensley has been a loving husband for 25 years, a father for 11 years, and a Financial Services Leader for over 22 years. He received his education in Philosophy and English from the University of Houston. He chose to work in the financial services industry because his passion is helping people achieve their life goals. Most importantly, he enjoys helping people. Christopher has a very well-rounded financial background. He has worked with such Fortune 500 companies as Merrill Lynch and UBS Financial Services, as well as the non-profit organization MMI- Consumer Credit Counselors Southwest. Mr. Hensley is licensed by FINRA and holds his series 7, 66, 9, and 10. Christopher received his Retirement Income Certified Professional® designation from the American College of Financial Services and his Certified Estate and Trust Specialist™ designation from the Institute of Business & Finance. In his spare time, Christopher enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and amateur electronics. Mr. Hensley is an accomplished public speaker and has hosted the radio/podcast show “Money Matters” on KPFT Houston for the past 4 years. As a thought-leader, Chris has been a repeat guest on Wall Street Journal Radio and 1110 KTEK Business Builders Network Radio. Chris has also given commentary regarding market volatility and Social Security changes in Financial Advisor Magazine. Christopher was President of the Houston Midtown Chapter of the Society for Financial Awareness nonprofit from 2008 to 2015 and delivered financial literacy seminars to dozens of Houston and Gulf Coast companies. Chris has been an active contributor to Houston Money Week since 2008 and is currently serving on the leadership team.
