Fugazza A. Maroni L. et al. New biliary and pancreatic biodegradable stent placement: a single-center, prospective, pilot study (with video). who used a new biodegradable pancreatic stent, eliminating the need for a repeated procedure for removal. Of note, no cases of pancreatitis related to failure of stent degradation were described.
