Officers from the Leamington Spa Safer Neighbourhood Team executed the drugs warrant earlier this morning (April 16). As a result, a man from Leamington, who has not been identified, was arrested . This was on suspicion of possession of class A drugs, and handling stolen goods. He remains in custody.

According to its latest online forecast, the strong gusts of wind are set to strike between 12noon and 1pm. Wind speeds have been picking up so far today (April 16) but they will peak around lunchtime. They will then fall to 48mph at 2pm. But the gusts of wind will remain the 40s until around 5pm this afternoon. They then are due to fall to 36mph at 6pm.
