Clare Trapasso is the senior news editor of realtor.com, writing and editing stories about the world of residential and rental real estate. She is also an adjunct journalism professor at the St. John's University. She was previously a financial reporter at Ignites, a Financial Times company, covering the mutual funds industry. She also spent five-and-a-half years covering local news, including education, courts and all sorts of murder and mayhem, for the New York Daily News for more than five years. Prior to that, she was a reporter with the Associated Press. She has an M.A. in Journalism from New York University and served two-and-a-half years in the Peace Corps Volunteer in Independent Samoa.
