Ansley Brianne Newton, 31, is charged with DUI-less safe, failure to maintain lane, and indecent exposure, according to Coweta County Jail records. Newnan police responded to the crash around 8 p.m. April 11 near 53 Sprayberry Road, where a vehicle had veered off the roadway near the dog park and struck a utility pole.

Skinner received the gavel from current state president Marie Boatright during the organization’s state convention March 29 at the Cherokee Conference Center in Canton. She will officially assume her duties July 1. Delta Kappa Gamma is an international professional society for key women educators, founded in 1929.
