Cleophas Oluoch is a versatile multimedia, broadcast, and digital journalist. On a day-to-day basis, he interacts with news content both online and in the newsroom. He has progressive experience in steering creative teams and digital divisions in designing and implementing content strategies and running digital campaigns that effectively reinforce and build brand images while engaging target audiences at local and global levels. Currently, Cleophas is the station voice for Ramogi Tv, where he hosts the morning breakfast; #RuuPiny (Day Break). He leads the digital team at Ramogi Tv in achieving the dream for the station in the online space. Cleophas Oluoch launched his career in media through an internship program at Royal Media Services in 2018. He was attached to the digital department. While at it, he managed all social media platforms for radio stations at Royal Media Services. After his internship, he progressed his career and joined Mediamax Network Limited (K24 TV, Milele FM Radio, and People Daily Newspaper) as a Digital Content Producer. He was a co-driver of the implementation of Mediamax Network Limited’s digital strategy, focusing on engaging Kenyan and East African audiences across multiple online platforms. While in this role, he produced, curated, and managed various multimedia content including videos, photos, infographics, news stories, advertorials, and infomercials. One of his achievements was developing and implementing a COVID-19 online citizen engagement strategy that is in execution to this moment. He hopes to continue doing journalism and impacting lives through stories that touch a man’s heart. He believes that our stories are better told by ourselves. His dream is to one day do a radio broadcast.
