According to Regina Fire and Protective Services, crews were dispatched to the refinery just before 5 a.m. Tuesday with crews remaining on “standby mode” throughout the morning while the refinery’s in-house fire team brought the situation under control.

  • Unit heavily damaged in overnight fire at Regina four-plex

According to Regina Fire and Protective Services, firefighters were called to the structure in Gladmer Park just before 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Firefighters described heavy smoke and fire conditions upon arrival, before the blaze was brought under control and “contained to the unit of origin.”All occupants of the unit were able to get out safely, with no injuries reported. The fire is under investigation.
