I'm the only person to create two successful all-online defense news websites, Breaking Defense (formerly AOL Defense) and DoDBuzz. Breaking Defense is the digital magazine on the strategy, politics and technology of defense. We offer analysis, perspective and insight on the single largest part of the US federal government, NATO, US partners and allies and the threats they face. Chicago Tribune Media Group apprentice pressman Dates Employed June 1975 – Aug 1975 I cleaned the old Goss presses at the Chicago Tribune my first summer out of high school. The award-winning color press guys always impressed me, reminding me of the old printers guilds.
