Biography

Specializing in First Nations and environmental issues during a 30-plus year part-time career, I have published with major Canadian and international media including the Globe & Mail, CBC, Toronto Star, BuzzFeed, and VICE, in print, online, and radio platforms. I am a keen observer of the Sarnia-area petrochemical industry, and of regional environmental concerns. I have written extensively about First Nations concerns in recent years, during the time of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, MMIWG, and renewed discussion of the legacy of residential schools for other specialty and regional media outlets. Along with news reporting and photography, I am also interested in work that would provide opportunities to write, edit, and publish promotional or publicity materials in the public or private sectors.
